15x12" S.E.F Search Coil Find Dime 10" Down

I am just loving this S.E.F 15 x 12 coil. Yesterday was the first time I got out since the ground has thawed. Since first using the S.E.F 15 x 12 coil, it has not left my detector. I can't say enough good things about this unit! Yesterday was no different. I decided to hunt a farm field I had been too several times before using the stock SlimLine coil on my Explorer SE. At one time, there had been some small outbuildings in a grove of trees that is now farmed around in a section of the field close to where the old house was. I had hunt the perimeter of this area many times prior to getting the S.E.F coil. Well, yesterday I got a good, deep signal that I had to use a shovel for. Imagine my delight when I pulled a Silver Dime at 10" from an area I previous thought there was nothing in! Unfortunately I banged the 1946 Roosevelt's forehead.

Despite the S.E.Fs size, it balances well and compared with the the stock SlimLine coil the difference in weight is not that great. 1 lb 14 oz for the S.E.F and 1 lb. 5 oz for the SlimLine. I am able to run at a higher sensitivity setting than I could using the stock coil thus, deeper coins!
