Fisher Metal Detector finds 24k Gold necklace

I've been water metal detecting since the 1960's, back in the Chesapeake Bay area in Balto Maryland and here in the ocean since 1982.

I currently use the Fisher CZ20 and the White's Surfmaster, and I've found thousands of pieces of gold jewelry. I'm 79 and still average about 2 or 3 pieces of gold a week!

I don't sell any of it as it is my hobby. I give a lot of it to my daughters and relatives and school rings I try to give back. Just a couple of weeks ago I found my first 24kt. gold necklace in Ft. Lauderdale in the ocean after 48 years of hunting in the water! It weighs 3oz and certainly pepped me up a little bit. Now I feel like hunting til I'm over 100!

Well, I talked my sister into buying a Fisher 1280X from Kellyco about 2 years ago. She lives about 10 miles from you and she loves to use it, but only goes about once a month. She is 68 years old and a little bashful but if she could find other people to go with I am sure she would love it!
