See What Todd Found with his Fisher CZ-20 Metal Detector

First I have to say that I like the Fisher CZ-20. In October I went deer hunting in Wisconsin, so I took my detector too. The searchcoil I bought for $80.00 is well worth it. So much info and if not for the searchcoil I would never had known the spot. I went to go ghost town hunting at a site north of Delefield, Wisconsin. As many know, you usually find a farmers field or a parking garage. I found a grave yard with some stones so old the age was gone. Next to it was a vacant lot. A church used to be there and burned down twice from the 1800's and I guess 1900's again.

I checked with the one farmhouse across the street and they said it was ok to check the lot out! The first item I hit was 1 foot deep but had a strong read on it. That was a smoking can union leader. My guess is people from old times come to visit and toss the empties. I also found the chewing tobacco can in 20 yard range. The best as you see are the carving knives and fork - the handles were made from deer. It's a big coincidence because those are the only antlers I got on my hunting trip. I'm trying to trace the knives, there is still writing and they are sterling silver and metal. They could have survived the fire and were buried in time. They cleaned up beautifully. I also found a small oil can. The other item is from a beach here in Florida. It's a gold Swiss credit. It must have fallen off somebody's chain. The numbers are rubbed off so who knows. I was out today near the inlet working a beach but only spent 5 minutes.
