I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!!!!!

The find of a life time - pinch me. I had no idea of what i found! We went over to Daytona Beach to hunt and hoped to find something left by the fourth of July weekenders.

We got up early, which about killed me since I went to bed around two! We hit the beach at 9a.m. and hunted to about one when a very bad storm sent us off the beach. That was ok I needed a break and was hungry so we stopped at Wendy's and then proceeded to my spot. I told Jerry I have been wanting to go to my favorite spot all month, that is where I found that silver bracelet with the dragon fly and the three rings.

We sat there in the car waiting for the rain to stop, and it did, that's the Florida weather for you, just wait five minutes and your good to go. I was grateful for the cloud cover all day because it would have been brutal hunting in the very hot sun. We proceeded down to my favorite area and notice the rain had sent everyone away, good I said maybe someone left something! And then it happened, the hit!!!! I thought it was another pull tab - I had a pocket full of them. I saw the edge of what I thought was a coin and when I reached for it my finger went thru it. I looked up at Jerry and screamed "A RING"!

All I had seen at that moment was the backside of it. I washed it off and saw all these stones. I said do you think it could be real? Then as he looked at it he read the markings inside the ring which I surely couldn't see. P-L-A-T... WHAT?!! Holy Bat-Man it's REAL!!!!

IT'S REAL, IT'S Real, I think?

Yes, it is platinum which is worth more then gold! I started crying, I was to stunned to do the chicken dance, but came alive later. there was no sun so it just didn't sparkle like I would imagine but as I showed it to the head of the Beach Patrol standing there, he put his flashlight on it and I saw fireworks. I said O MY GOD!!!! I gave thanks to him, Jesus, the universe, and anyone else who had a hand in this one. I have been putting this out there for a year and BAM!

It appraised at $4500.00. Nice find and the best thing of all it fits my finger and it's on my hand right now. I'm in la,la land! (eight diamonds on both side - 3/4 karat)
