One of the great features of the Discovery Tone Mag 1A Fast is the special audio target alarm alert that is adjustable from a sensitivity of 3, 6 and 9 gammas. This feature helps the operator to be selective to what size or intensity will setoff the alarm alert.

Which Discovery Land Tone Version Should You Choose?

Choose the 1A Fast version for much faster and more accurate target detection capability and a longer run time between charges. Other benefits of this upgraded model come in handy while you are in the field by setting the audio alarm levels for size and intensity of targets.
Choose the Standard Mag 1 where a longer run time is not required or you want all the power of the 1A Fast version but see no reason for the special audio alarm mode because you will mostly be recovering all targets and not concerned with setting different gamma retune sensitivities.
