Worn thin by centuries, rubbed by sand under the sea, this large 8 Reale coin retains some of the sharpest strikes we have seen on sea salvaged coins. You can still see great details on the shield side, mint mark, assayers mark, date, etc. Obverse side has good cross and a most unusual conterstrike mark.
