Glenn H., a member of the Kellyco Test Team has been actively metal detecting since 1971. During his lifelong career as a Deputy Sheriff, Glenn used his Metal Detecting experience "In-the-field" to search and recover critical evidence assisting in numerous on-going investigations.

After Retiring Glenn turned his attention to the fun side of metal detecting and hunted throughout the U.S., from Alaska and California throughout the West and Mid-West, Southeastern States, and finally settled in Florida where he continues detecting.

"I like to hunt parks and school yards. I'm always surprised at the number of coins and rings I recover. The Land Ranger I found to be very easy to tune.  You get a lot of features for a pretty low price.  In school yards especially there are hundreds if not thousands of pull-tabs which have to be discriminated out.  The notch feature drops out the pull-tabs and still keeps in most of the gold rings in addition to nickels. It doesn't hurt that the detector is lightweight and easy to handle.  A good detector for the price."

Hi Glen,  I personally wanted to thank you for the way you handled the problems my brother, Wayne C. had with his metal detector.  Wayne has a passion fro metal detecting, but lives on a very limited income, and couldn't afford a decent detector.  He mentioned that Kellyco had a special on some refurbished detectors so I purchased one as a gift for him.  I didn't know he had some problems with it until you called me.  He didn't tell me about the problems he was having, because as a gift to him, he thought I would be upset.  Wayne is 67 years old and I think metal detecting is what keeps him going.  He goes out everyday, weather permitting, for at least 3 or 4 hours.  Wayne is always trying to get me involved in detecting, and I am leaning towards it as a hobby being I am now retired.  If I do get into detecting, I assure you Kellyco will get all my business.  It isn't often you find companies that are that dedicated to their customers.  Its usually take their money and run.  I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated what you've done for Wayne.
