Why
You Should Own an EXcelerator Searchcoil for your
Metal Detector
Searchcoils
supplied with all metal detectors are coils that
manufacturers feel give the best all-around results.
However, both larger and smaller size searchcoils
are necessary to get the best performance from your
metal detector.
When
should you require a larger searchcoil?
It's
happened to all of us many many times. You're
detecting and finding lots of good targets. After
a while the amount of "hits" become less
frequent and the weak audio signals are letting you
know that your searchcoil has reached its maximum
detection limits. But.., there are still deeper
more valuable targets in the ground. You
don't have to leave those valuable deep targets to
someone else. By using a larger size (12.5,
14" or 18") coil you will be able to detect
deeper, find more older targets and even search a
wider area in less time! You are now covering
a deeper zones and your finds are older and more valuable,
but you can still detect deeper!
When your 12.5 or 14 inch coil reaches its maximum
detection limits, and the 14" can be as
deep as 15 to 20 inches, by using
the (most) powerful 18 Inch EXcelerator searchcoil,
you can reach maximum penetration at 20 to 22 inches
and dig out single coins. Deeper than 22 inches for
caches, small and large treasures that other detectors
simply cannot reach!
The
18" EXcelerator Searchcoil is the finest searchcoil
in the EXcelerator searchcoil series. Test
reports from average metal detector owners who have
tested this coil have been even better than the manufacturer
claimed. Compared to the outstanding 14" size
which is considered exceptionally deep without loss
of sensitivity on small items, the 18" has become
the favorite of everyone who has participated in the
testing of this amazing searchcoil. Imagine the thrills
of finding single coins 20" to 22"
deep. This is in addition to the 18 inch
size still having the sensitivity to find tiny earrings
smaller than a dime being found at 10"
to 12" deep. HUGE amounts of relics
and artifacts have been recovered from areas that
were pounded by detectors year after year after year
and were considered absolutely "worked-out".
The 18 Inch EXcelerator coil proved them all wrong!
Regardless
of your metal detecting preference, coins, rings,
jewelry, relics, artifacts, caches, small and large
treasures as well as gold nuggets can be found
with detectors using EXcelerator Searchcoils.
18
inch EXcelerator searchcoil IS FULLY SUBMERSIBLE! . FULL

How
Much Do they Weigh?
EXcelerator
Coils weigh LESS THAN Standard Minelab Coils!!
Example: 10" Sovereign XS Coil weighs
1.9 lbs. While the larger 14" EXcelerator
coil weighs only 1.88 lbs.
A
BIG difference. Less weight = more comfortable
detecting time, detect longer with less fatigue
plus, the weight is spread over a wider area
for better balance and comfort. |

The
EXcelerator 18 inch searchcoil does find deep treasures
in hunted out areas especially in the worst mineralized
grounds in Virginia! Rusty nails seemed difficult to pinpoint
correctly.
I dug a 4 foot hole and the EXcelerator coil did read the
hole but not any tangible object. All my finds were found
at depths of 10 to 12 inches in a place that has been hunted
for over 30 years. No one has found anything deeper than
6 to 8 inches at these site.

Finds a Silver Dollar Cache with 18" EXcelerator
Searchcoil
The
EXcelerator hit pay dirt today!!! I
had to get the 2 acres mowed today and didn't
think I would get out, man I'm glad I did ! I
installed an AC unit in this guys home a couple
of weeks ago and asked who owned the old site
behind his house, he said it used to be his Grandpa's
place. They burned it down in 1970. Anyway
he said I could hunt it when I wanted to. I
took the wife with and we got there about 1:30
and hoped the rain would hold off. The
guy wasn't home but I knew it was ok to detect. I
was there for about an hour and found a standing
Lib Quarter no date. About 15 minutes
later my wife finds a 44 mercury using the daughters
IDX. Right after she finds hers I find
a 16 mercury in very fine condition. I
get all excited cause I can't remember if it's
the 16 or 16D that's worth the bucks !! I
keep hunting and the clouds are rolling in and
I get this hit that's coming through this rock,
it's in a round circle of small rocks with a
big one in the middle. It looked as though
it may of been a flower bed. I flip
the rock over and I still get the hit. I
did about four
inches
and hit something, I reach down and pull out
a pint mason jar with $7 in
it !! I got an 1881, 1882, 1884, 1921,
1921, 1922 & 1924 !! All the Ladies
cleaned up real nice. By the time we got done
jumping up and down and settled enough to get
some pics the rain started coming. I go
on days tomorrow and can't wait to get back to
finish detecting this place !! I took some
more pics maybe I'll send a few more separately.

I
have had success with my 18-Inch EXcelerator Searchcoil
I
have an 18-Inch EXcelerator coil and I have used
it a few times. In an area I had hunted very heavily
a week ago I found some coins that were DEEP! I
know now that there are still deeper coins in this
area and other areas I have hunted. Many of my previous
finds were reached at what I believe were the limits
of the detector. The EXcelerator searchcoil has
proven to be deeper.
