"I spent the last year or so helping Tom Diagnosis as he developed the prototype CZ-3D. Actually my job was to compare signals using my standard CZ-5 against his prototype in the field. The sites chosen had produced old coins in past years but had long since been "hunted out". I have lost track of the number of buffalo, shield and V nickels that read high tone (good) nickel on his prototype and mid barber, standing liberty dimes and even a few silver quarters. Quite often, these coins would read high tone on my standard CZ only AFTER being dug. In the ground they all read mid tone (bad) for me and high tone (Good) for him. This thing (CZ-3D) is an old coin killer and I can't wait to get one of my own!"  - Porter C.
