1700's Silver Shoe Buckle

My name is Rick, and I live in Southeastern Massachusetts. I've been a White’s customer for about three years now, and the MXT is my detector of choice. I recently started on a new site that dates back to the mid 1600's.
I was doing pretty good on silver coins, when I decided to take a walk and look around, well I saw another area that just 'looked' good. After ten minutes I got a weak half dollar hit at about five inches, after removing four inches I saw the look of silver in the hole, and it turned out to be a buckle! From what I've been told it's a mid 1700's shoe buckle! I've made some cool finds with my machine, but this is my new favorite piece for sure!!
