<p><strong>My find of a lifetime!</strong></p> <p>I found this in a field that I have detected many times over the years, and I have came away with a lot of great coins, buttons, etc. including some British coins and a 1798 large cent but nothing of this caliber.</p> <p>Recently, it has been producing so well because it was turned over to plant corn, while for years now it has just been hay fields so I had pretty much depleted it until there was hardly anything left and now it is just like new again.</p> <p>As far as depth goes it was only 3 inches deep. The coin just popped right out in the first shovel full of dirt.</p>
