<p><strong>I am excited to tell you about my first outing with my new V3i metal detector.</strong> Being we had a streak of unusually warm weather this winter I decided to go over to the local ballpark. I was anxious to see how the V3i handled but was not expecting to make any significant finds being myself and others had hunted the area many times before.</p> <p>I selected the Coin and Jewelry program and within a half hour had located a deep signal which sounded very promising and gave a pretty good display. Upon recovering the target I could hardly believe my 1st coin of 2012 with my new detector was a 1944-D Mercury Head dime!</p> <p>What are the odds? Apparently with the V3i pretty good, because my 3rd coin was another silver dime. This one was a 1952 Roosevelt. It was like hunting new ground all over again, I can hardly wait for spring so I can revisit all my old hunting grounds. I have a feeling 2012 is going to be a very good year.</p>
