A Fun Relic Hunt Thanks to White's

Here in New Jersey we had very warm weather on New Year’s Day. It was in the middle fifties! So I went off to an old restaurant where they were adding a new parking lot. I asked permission to search the area where they were removing some dirt to even up the ground.

They told me that it would be ok to go ahead and metal detect. In a couple of hours I had recovered some nice Indian head pennies from the late 1890's and a V nickel also from the late 1890’s. I found two nice buckles, a cool old key, a rail road spike, a couple of possible old jewelry items and I think an old gas valve.

I was using the White’s V3i and I could not enjoy it more. It's a great machine!
