<p><strong>I have been metal detecting going on 11 years now and have been using my V3i for about 3 years.</strong> It wasn't until recently that I found my first silver ring. It might not sound like much of a find but it meant a lot to me seeing as how I have always wanted to find one but the find had always eluded me.</p> <p>Recently I went to a buddy’s house for weekend hunt, I have hunted there before but came home empty handed. We got up bright and early and headed off to one of his favorite spots which were on a pretty steep grade overlooking the city he lives in.</p> <p>I was scanning the hill finding some odd signals here and there when I stumbled upon a very strong signal. I started to dig and I saw something glittering in the dirt. I pulled it out and low and behold I was holding my first silver ring! Judging from the marks it is probably from the early 1900's. It is a special find for me (and my wife because it fits her perfectly). I know that some detectors would have also found this ring but with the V3i it makes detecting a breeze.</p> <p>Thanks White’s for making a great product!</p>
