Hi my name is Bob P, I have been metal detecting for two years. It is the best hobby I have ever had. I was in Hampton, NH on the beach using my A T Pro (great detector) on Monday 9-19-2016 when I got a hit. First I thought it was a nickel because of the sound and the digital number (around 53) but gold has the same sound and number also. I looked in my sifter and saw a ring. I was shocked and looked up info on the internet about the ring and found out there is black gold. Next step is to bring it to a pro to see what it is worth. Thanks for reading my short story.
