Coinmaster GT Finds a Pair of Earring at the Beach

On June 3, 2013 after a major storm I went to our local beach hoping to try out my new Coinmaster GT at low tide. After about an hour of finding a lot of change and bottle caps, I received a signal in the ring range with a VDI scale of +70.
After two attempts with my scoop I recovered a black flower shaped earring with stones in it, so I stuck it in pouch without paying much attention to it. About 10 minutes later I received another signal with a reading of + 60, after one attempt I recovered to my surprise the other earring.
On way home I stopped to talk to the owner of our local jewelry store who is also a member of our metal detecting club. After he got done checking them out he told me they were worth about 400 dollars.
I was very happy because they paid for my metal detector. I'm still waiting to see if someone puts an add in the local paper to claim them, if not I'm sure my wife will. It just goes to show you it's another fantastic day using a White’s metal detector.
