Colonial Silver From Worked Site
02/21/16

Decided to venture onto a well worked farm with a friend, we have had some superb finds in the past but recently the finds had gone dry! We had both been running Explorer SEs but I recently upgraded to the E-TRAC.

Made the decision to head to the hill that has given the most outstanding finds... nothing for 3 hours! Went to the far end of the field and got a scratchy signal, dug down 4 inches and in the wall of the hole was this beauty! Silver 1792 Carolus IV 1/2 Reale, minted in Lima/Peru, counter stamped with the head of George III. Fantastic condition, although sadly clipped on one side.

Proves the point that the E-TRAC recovers things other detectors leave behind!
