I went detecting with my AT Max in Green county, Ohio on November 23. This area is known for stage coach routes, bike paths (rails to trails), and was part of the underground railroad. The soil here has a high clay content with a layer of grass. I got a signal of 85-86 so I thought I found a quarter. After digging approximately 9 - 10" deep I found this 1675 Charles II farthing.
