My Dad and I have been using your metal detectors for 6 wonderful years now, and we are both big White's fans. We go out almost every weekend and it's how we spend our time together. My Dad has a Prizm IV and I have a MXT, both of which we have had great success. [split] This Last weekend we spent all day Saturday metal detecting local elementary schools and we had some cool finds; a 1942 wheat penny, a 10K stamped rose gold pendant, a small 14K earring clasp, 2 empty shell casings, an "I heart Alaska" ring along with other children's trinkets, about 5 dollars in change and lastly; two earrings which appeared to be diamond studs, (however after being tested negative, found out they are probably just Cubic Zirconium's) But it was a rush seeing something shinny and sparkly when I am digging, thinking maybe they're possibly real, and very valuable.

Since my Dad and I starting detecting 6 years ago, we have kept everything and put it in a wood box. Well that box was getting too full, so for Christmas I bought my Dad the biggest Jewelry Armoire I could find. We now are putting all our treasures in it and it looks nice and organized. It's amazing how many things we've found. After going through it all here are some examples of what we got in total: we have a whole drawer of cheap rings, and we have about 20 silver rings, and 4 gold rings, 4 silver bracelets, many different odd coins such as flattened coins and many foreign coins including a large 1853 French coin, coins cut in half or mangled from a lawn mower, some silver dimes and quarters, wheat pennies, and a buffalo nickel.

We also have about 6 car wash tokens, and about 10 Chuck E. Cheese tokens. It's always fun to show off what we have found, and see how things add up. We have found a total of well over $500 in coins and when you add up the value of the silver and gold we have found enough valuable treasure to pay for our detectors and then some.

This is a great hobby and outdoor activity for us, and I look forward to eventually purchasing a V3i.
