I do a little research and find a spot. On tuesday i only hit it for a couple of hours and right away know im coming back. I go home with 2 1919 wheaties a 1962 rosy and thoughts of what i might find on my next trip. Two days later im back in the same spot and run into another metal detector. He says him and his buddys have been working it over pretty good but he still thinks there is a lot still left and he was right. About 2 hours in and a couple wheaties later i get a steady 62 at only 1 inch. Im thirsty and starting to get hot so i walk around it a couple of times and think its only a penny. I get ready to walk to the truck and not dig it but it never waying off 62 bothers me . I dig in haphazardly and flip the "penny" out of the hole. I look over at it and thank im glad i dug that because it's my first "sacajawea dollar". In no hurry i pick it up and give it one wipe and right away i know its no sacajawea.[split]Right about now is when i start shaking on the frount i read 1855 and when i flip it over low and behold it says it TEN D. I thought i was going to have a heart attack right there. Well it just goes to show there is still treasure even in a worked over place.
