Found My First US Plate with My MXT
Published by Jessica M. on 02/21/16
I was enjoying my first day of vacation and I had a new spot I wanted to try and the time to do it. Armed with my MXT I headed out. When I picked up a few bullets in the first 10 minutes I new it was going to be a good day. As I worked my way around the field I continued to find the odds and ends left over from a Civil War encampment.
The double D 10 inch coil was hitting the big and small stuff awesome. Then I had a very deep signal that was hitting in the brass range and sounded a little different the some of the buttons I had found. As I dug the signal was still hitting good, at about 10 inches I started picking it up with my Bullseye pinpointer.
Then I could start to make out the "S" in the dirt as I pulled it out got a good look at my first U.S. belt plate. It was bent and in rough shape but I thought it was great. I was so excited I had to head home to clean it up. I am looking forward to my next trip back there with my MXT. Thanks White’s for helping me find the Civil War relic that was tops on my list. It was a great Day!
