<strong>I have finally hit it big with my V3i.</strong> I was out detecting a few days ago at a new spot that I have acquired permission to metal detect. In a matter of minutes I was digging up colonial button after button. Since I do not try to rub the dirt off my finds in the field, for fear or damaging a good find, I had no idea the amazing find that I dug up. When I was cleaning my finds at home I had noticed that the one button said, “long live the president” on it. I immediately got excited and started to search the Internet. It turns out that my button was a 1789 George Washington Inaugural button! That same day I had also found a silver Washington quarter that hit solid on my V3i around 5 inches. I also found a Georgivs III Rex Virginia Half Penny.
