I have been using my Ace 250 in Australia since February 2005. As a relative newcomer to coin and treasure detecting I have found my Ace 250 to be the best thing since sliced bread. It is light, easy to swing and the controls are so easy to operate.
It has very impressive depth and functionality for the price that more than rivals some of the more expensive machines on the market.
Since owning my Ace, I have managed over $4000 in change, 12 gold rings (one of which is a diamond ring valued at A$8000), 11 silver rings, and a number of silver and gold chains and bracelets. Estimated A$17,000 in coins and jewellery is not a bad return for a "cheap detector."
