<p><strong>I was detecting an old home site with my 10 year old son ..</strong> he inherited my ace 350 when I bought the Safari.. What a machine I cannot believe the depth on this thing!! I recovered the lock at 10 inches and the dick tracy cap gun at 20 inches!!!!</p> <p>What a great mix of value and technology this is truly a turn on and go detector!!! The only problem I can find is my son now wants to use the Safari every time we go out!!!! Probably should have bought two Safari's!!</p> <p>Some quick research showed that the lock was produced in Philadelphia from 1850 to 1900. The cap gun is from the 50's and was a popular kids toy.</p>
