Years ago I bought a Whites Eagle Spectrum from Kellyco. We went to North Carolina for vacation and did some metal detecting and found a class ring. I dont remember the exact year of graduation but it was the same time my sister in law was in high school late 80's? Inside the ring was the Initials of the owner. She looked in the yearbook and found the owner of the ring and called her up. The owner never thought she'd see the ring ever again and was ecstatic about getting it back. What happened was she put it on the blanket so as not to lose it, and when packing up to leave flipped the blanket to get the sand off, the ring as well went too. I sold the detector bout 8 years ago but soon I will be heading back to Kellyco for a PI detector so my son and I can hit the beach for just a little treasured times.
