My father, Buzz Verneau and I have both bought AT Pros from Kellyco and were excited to try them out. We were lucky enough to get permission to hunt an area in middle Georgia that was a Civil War camp site on Sherman’s march to the sea. We had vision of three ringers and belt buckles dancing in our heads. Unfortunately, none of that came to pass, but to hours into the hunt I was surprised at what popped out of a shallow 2 inch plug. It was a holed 1748 half Reale with an “oM” mint mark (Mexico City). I could not believe my eyes. So thankful that my Dad was with me. Making memories.
