I Bought My V3i Four Years Ago and What a Remarkable Metal Detecting Journey It's Been

02/21/16

This year I've only been able to hunt a month and a half so far because of the long winter, but what a month and a half it's been! I found my first ever colonial coin (1787 Connecticut copper), my first seated quarter, my oldest Canadian token and I've got my first gold for the year. 95% of all these finds I've found in the woods. I really love hunting in the woods, after winter mats everything down good. As a matter of fact my brother just gave me a call to go detecting and we're meeting at the woods where I found my seated quarter. I've been detecting for 25 years now, I started out with Whites and I was sold on them from the get go. Finding a colonial copper in Michigan is a rarity that I thought that I would never achieve. The day after I found it I went back to the same spot and found an 1835 large cent. Whites, all I can say is if you ever come out with a better VLF than the V3i I'm gonna want it because you make the best in my book.
