I Have Found Over 450 Coins with My VX3
02/21/16

I just wanted to share a short story with you. I have been using White’s metal detectors for over 40 years. My first detector was a Coinmaster Supreme, a lot heavier than the newer ones but a great machine none the less.

I used it to find the original David Thompson trading post near Thompson Falls Montana. I found 4 metal arrow heads, 4 copper trade rings, many spun silver buttons from the 1790’s and thousands of trade beads.

Those items can be seen at the Thompson Falls Museum in Thompson Falls Montana. I have found many interesting things on the Old Oregon trail in Wyoming, including a us cavalry belt buckle, several large cents, a 1857 half dollar, many military buttons, and lots of mini balls and brass cartridge cases.

I bought a VX3 last fall but the ground was frozen and too hard to detect in the park. This spring however, I have found over 450 coins 5 tokens and several nice rings including a gold ring. I want to thank White’s for the many hours of pleasure they have given me. I also want to ask all treasure hunters to cover their holes and make them look good.
