<p><strong>I have been metal detecting for 6 years in Southern Nevada. It is tuff detecting here because the area is not that old and the soil is mineralized.</strong> I have used several name brand detectors and only found 1 silver coin and 4 wheat pennies during that time. That statistics all changed this last year when I got my E-TRAC.</p> <p>With the E-TRAC this last year I dug 6483 clad coins, a total of 54 lbs of coins to be exact. I dug 16 wheat’s and 4 silver coins. As for rings I dug 52 of them. 2 were gold rings, one of witch was a 10K and weighs 32g.The second gold ring was a man’s wedding band with 4 small diamonds. As for the Silver, Pewter and Stainless rings, the total was 23.</p> [split] <p>When I detect I use some of the factory patterns and a couple of custom patterns that I made myself by scanning targets into the detector. I have revisited sites I have been at before and found coins on edge at depth of 9 inches deep. In high trash sites the E-TRAC easily ignores the Junk and indicates the desirable targets. I’m truly amazed by the capabilities of the E-TRAC.</p>
