<p><strong>The village where I live is a village were even the Romans roam over the country.</strong> So it exists for a long time. We have encountered a lot of natural disasters. One of the most known is the big flood of 1953.</p> [split] <p>The dikes broke right in front of our village and a lot of times from the early Medieval times. As a result some Medieval castles were nothing more than a pile off stones.</p> <p>But I have the opportunity to search at these places. This week I could search there also. And it did pay off. I found a Medieval lock, a so called barrel lock. Dated around 13/14 century. And it was in one piece. Oh man, I am again a happy man with this find.</p> <p>The good old E-TRAC did it again, oh yeah.
