Last Year's V3i Best Finds
02/21/16

Most of the items pictured have been found in private yards. The first 5 minutes of hunting after the winter broke last year out popped 2 barber dimes. I thought the yard was fairly void of good targets. The large cent was found in a farm field that I had eyed for several years and was finally able to get back and hunt again. Right off the bat a great hit and there was my first large cent, the only target I found that day.

Then I moved to a different hill in the farm field and started getting V nickels and Indian cents. My hunting time is very limited per session because of my disability. Most of the time 1 hour of hunting is pushing it. So I try to get private yards with lots of sidewalk area. I hunt here in Indiana and most of my area is coal mines or strip pits. Most of the old towns and little Burgs are gone, which makes finding good spots with lots of goodies hard to find (but they are here). My V3i has done me very well in returning areas that I have hit with my old XLT, DFX, Vision and now V3i. Wow what a great line of detectors they have been.
