<p><strong>I live on Florida's Treasure Coast and strictly hunt the beach.</strong> I do dry and wet sand, but can not detect in the water due to admiralty leases. A few weeks ago we had a few days of large waves and I figured that I would venture out and see if the ocean had left me (or possibly uncovered) some goodies. I was working the previous high tide line which was pretty dry by now. My M6 was in the beach mode with no discrimination and the sensitivity at 3 O'Clock. I also had the pinpoint toggle forward for multiple tones. After an hour of the usual beach stuff like bottle caps, pull tabs, clad, lead sinkers etc, I got a high pitched tone that bounced around the low 90's on my VDI and read as "$1". I pi pointed the tar get and saw it was 7" down. Two scoops later and I had an encrusted piece of silver in my hand that weighed 26.7 grams. After a night of electrolysis as well as a good cleaning with a toothbrush and Colgate (great for silver), I had a beautiful 8 Reale that has been identified as being from the 1618 Cabin Wreck!
