MXT Finds 3 Colonial Coins!

Published by Jessica M. on 02/21/16

MXT finds 3 Colonial coins along with other great finds I want to thank White’s Electronics for making this special machine. I have owned my MXT for only 1 month and I already paid for my investment. I took my MXT out after learning how to use it with the instructional video and owners guide both provided by White’s. [split] I knew of an old house from the 1700’s that was going to be torn down and made into a horse farm. I immediately took my detector to this historic home, upon arrival I met the owner and asked if I could metal detect on his property. He agreed, but only for two days, so I went to work fast knowing I only had two days to hunt this historic site. I turned on my MXT set the Gain to 9 and the Dual Control on the Preset, soon after that I was pulling a 1746 George II coin at about 6 inches deep. Yes, it was that easy and over the two days I hit even bigger with a 1786 NJ Cent and a 1747 Machin’s Mills Halfpenny, also an 1842 one cent, 1960 silver quarter, 1900 \& 1901’s Barber Dimes, an 1886 Indian Head Penny, 1920 Buffalo nickel, a silver ring, and an 1800’s Brass Latch with a horseshoe for a lever. Once again thank you for this Special detector that has blessed me with such great finds.
