MXT Finds a Confederate "C" Rosette

I just wanted to let you know of this fantastic find I made a few month back at a Civil war hunt I went to using my trusty MXT. Twice a year I attend an organized Civil war hunt that is held in an area where the ground is so mineralized that is tough to get a signal more than a few inches deep. I've owned my MXT for about 10 years now and know it fairly well. I was detecting an area of a field that was load with trash and iron when I got a VDI reading around 89. It was a loud signal that I thought for sure was a tin can, but thought I better dig it because the graphic bar was high and the VDI was solid. [split] When I cut the plug flipped it over and saw what it was I was shocked as this is my first Confederate "C" Rosette I've ever dug. I always have done well with my MXT at these hunts, but this Rosette just made my weekend. I not only dug the Rosette I dug plenty of Civil War bullets and a couple Eagle buttons.
I just wanted to let White's know that even though new detectors come out every year, I still feel that my MXT will keep up with them in the field. Knowing your detector is the main thing for finding Relics and the MXT is quite easy to learner and understand. Here are a couple pictures of my finds and the Rosette. Thanks again for developing such a great detector and keep up the great work.
