
<p><strong>My uncle lost his 1949 AAA baseball championship ring he earned after hitting a grand slam against the Braves in Memphis Tn.</strong> He lost the ring 12 years ago in his back yard. The 86 year old Iwo Jima survivor (wounded twice on that island) didn't ask me to look for it. I kinda insisted I give it a try. </p>
<p>Well, after digging about 20 targets that 18K gold honker of a ring with 13 diamonds showed its beautiful self. It made my day handing him that ring. That ring has sentimental value through the roof !!! E-TRAC numbers were 12-34.</p>
<p>That was the 3rd time he had lost that ring. Because it was damaged from a lawn mower strike, I suggested he have the jeweler install a GPS chip in it when he gets it repaired. He chuckled and under his breath I heard "Smart Alec":)</p>
