<p><strong>I have an X-TERRA 705 metal detector and I pounded a homesite built in 1925. </strong>After several months I went back to this homesite and detected the sidewalk of this homesite and got a signal about 6 inches deep. I dug and dug and saw what I thought was the back of a mason jar lid. I brushed the relic off and when I saw the eagle I almost fainted! It was a Civil War eagle breastplate! This was my best find ever!</p>
