My Best Find to Date with My MXT

My dad and I went metal detecting around some old mining ghost towns in Nevada. We were digging a lot of trash both inside and outside the old building foundations. While searching around the perimeter of an old rock wall next to the ruins of a building, I got a signal on my MXT that was sharper than the broken signals from the trash we were getting all morning.
[split]
It was a pile of rocks that had been there for some time, judging by the brush growing through them. I started to turn the rocks over and the signal got stronger with each rock I removed. I uncovered an old glass jar with a tin lid on it that was encrusted with dirt. I at first thought the jar lid was the signal I was hearing.
I picked up the jar to throw it in our trash bag and it rattled. Upon removing the rusted lid, I found it held 12 coins, all U.S. 5 cent pieces. One was a 1910 "V" Ex Fine, a 1911 "V" Fine, a 1918 "D" buffalo head Good, a 1929 buffalo head Good, and eight more buffalo heads in good condition but the dates were not legible.
My dad said miners were living here through the 1930's and there are a couple of old grave sites dating 1949. It is the first Cache I have found and I am really happy with my MXT!
