<strong>Here are some photos of an old spice can and the coins found inside in the Paso Robles area of California.</strong> The can and coins were found 8 1/2 inches deep under and old tree stump that had been cut many years ago. The spice can is from between 1940 to about 1964. The coins found in the can include Morgan Silver dollars from 1888 and 1806, a Peace Dollar from 1928, two Indian Nickles from 1936, twelve Mercury dimes and eleven wheat pennies and a standing Liberty Quarter from 1928. A Morgan silver dollar from 1882 is in the collection photo but it was found about two weeks earlier and in a different location.
