Mystery coin.

Published by Don J. on 02/21/16

I have been using a metal detector since 1969. I built my first detector myself. The second one was actually a World War II mine detector. The third was a Fisher in 1971. The next two were Bounty Hunters. I now have a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505. I can generally identify everything I find. But this one is a mystery. It is about the size of a U.S. quarter and is made of pure copper. I have no idea what it is, or where it came from.
