<p><strong>I just wanted to share my story.</strong> I bought my house and land from my family after my grandparents passed. The house was made back in the late 1800's and my family moved in in the early 1900's. I have owned two other metal detectors and have detected my land and found a few items. This past winter my wife bought me a Minelab Safari and I finally got time to try it in the yard. I new the yard had been detected very hard before but thought I would just try to get used to the tones.</p> <p>I was detecting a small piece of my yard with my 12 y/o son when I heard a high pitched tone and the detector showed a silver coin. I wasn't going to dig but my son insisted. And wow we dug up a 1957 D quarter, a 1964 nickel and a 1962 penny. I know this may not seem like a big find to some but it mean so much to me and my son. These 3 coins most likely came from the pockets of my Grandfather or my great Grandfather. They are priceless to me and my son!! Thank you so much Minelab for making an amazing detector!!</p>
