<p><strong>Hello everyone!</strong></p> <p>At the start of September, I went out with my E-TRAC to a field where people have been searching with metal detectors for over 30 years. Till this day people still dig up nice finds at this particular field, including me.</p> [split] <p>My find was surrounded by iron objects, so I didn't have a clear signal. Nevertheless, I still decided to dig and see what was there...</p> <p>'Wow!' was the first thing that came to my mind. I was the lucky person to discover a Roman statue of the goddess Fortuna!!!!!!</p> <p>She is the goddess of faith and luck. Well, it was my lucky day to find this beauty!</p> <p>Last week I had a response from the archaeologists, they made a detailed description and some professional photo's of the statue . They said that it was a very rare find, there are only a few bronze Fortuna statues known in the Netherlands. They were really excited about it!</p> <p>This is the best find I ever had with my detector! Thanks Minelab!</p>
