The E-TRAC Does It Again

02/21/16

Well I went out today with my friend Doug mding. He had a new site to hunt. So we went out this morning in the cold. He had found some nice coin's last week. So I was hoping to find a real or a doubloon.

So it was a hell of a climb to the top of this hill, but we got there and started to hunt. The first hour, we did not find much but gun shells. It was a big field and woods. Doug went in the woods and I hit the field. He also used an E-TRAC. Why? Well it 's the best in the business brother.
[split]
My first good find was a large brass bar, a good 2 ft long and 2 in. in diameter. My next one was what I thought was a large cent. At first it just seem to be a plain flat button. So I rubbed it to get the rest of the mud off and then I saw a G. I told myself it can't be. So I rubbed it one more time and there was the W. I could not believe it! A George Washington Inaugural Button 1789, it is a rare one.

There is only 76 none. I first yelled at Doug but he could not here me. So I ran to him and told he better be sitting down. I thought his eyes were going to come out of his head.

At first the words could not come out of his mouth. Be they did and gave me a big congrats. So I went back and started up again. Within 10 feet I pulled out an 1821 1/2 real. What a day! I also pulled out a small button pewter. I and a pewter spoon.

I have had this E-TRAC for a good 3 1/2 years now. It has been the best detector I have owned EVER, and I have been doing this for 38 years. Thank you Minelab for making the best detector out there.
