[split] <strong>I have been having a blast with my White’s V3i for two years now.</strong> I have been finding many wheat penny's and more silver this year than ever before. Most of the older coins are down six to eight inches. I am finding these coins around old homes in my own area. One of my most impressive finds happened when I was going over an area which gets metal detected a lot. It is located in a local park. The grass is thick, and it was a steep incline. There were hardly any coins to be found. There was lots of chopped up aluminum cans everywhere. I got a really interesting signal that I thought about ignoring. It was mixed from from VDI's 27 up to 78. The high pitched sounds and the high VDI number plus a ring icon got me digging. The first thing I pulled out was a small piece of aluminum. It was down about three inches. Then I found a broken junk ring band. It was 4 inches down. I checked again with my V3i and I still was getting the same signals. I poked around some more and found the rest of the junk ring. I checked the area again. This time I got a strong ring and silver signal. Down another inch I found the most beautiful amethyst ring in perfect condition. All these targets were lined up one on top of the other. I can't believe how accurate the V3i was. The information I was getting from the start indicated all the items which were eventually uncovered. Metal detecting with this machine is the very best.
