TM 808 Finds Cave

Published by Kellyco C. on 02/21/16

My name is Matthew, a few years ago I bought a Tm 808 while using this machine I located an iron chest buried in a river bank near my home. Since then I used the Tm808 to locate a cave I suspected held a revolutionary war cache. The Tm 808 worked great. It took me several months of searching to locate the cave. When I found the cave I sent a camera mounted on a thirty foot pole into an area I could not enter due to flooded water. The camera has shown me that a cache does lie inside the cave. I have not been able to retrieve any artifacts yet. Without positively identifying any artifacts yet I have not been able to determine who placed this here. Through my research I firmly believe it is a weapons cache hidden by British and Hessian soldiers after they became prisoners of war during the early years of the Revolutionary war. This occurred soon after General John Burgoyne surrendered to General Gates at Saratoga. I have photographed at least fifty different artifacts lying on the bottom of this cave known to be used by Tories. The artifacts I have seen are pre 1800. They consist of heavy chains ,piles of musket balls, cannon balls, axes, tomahawks, swords, daggers, several cannons, and most interesting is several chests still completely sealed with their lids. This has turned into a very large and very historic find for me. I am currently working to establish the necessary permits from the state of Massachusetts to recover this cache. Until then I can only show a few pictures of the artifacts which I will send for you to see. In this picture are two sword scabbards and a sword. This is just a very small portion of what lies in large piles of artifacts. I hope to show the world soon what we will recover here.
