<p><strong>While detecting an old farm field in New Jersey I got a nice repeatable tone with a VDI of 72 on my V3i.</strong> The depth read at four inches. I dug up this Spanish cob. At first I thought it was a dime until I picked off the dirt.</p> <p>I could not believe what I was looking at. I was told it dates around the mid 1600’s. I never thought I would find a cob before. Just goes to show you that you never know what you will dig up.</p>
