<p><strong>I recently upgraded my metal detector to the V3i and I have to say, WOW!</strong> What a detector! Nearly every outing produces buttons, coins and artifacts! I live in a heavily populated area of New Jersey, so finding sites to detect can sometimes be a challenge. Due to its colonial roots, the area has been also been heavily detected since the 1970's. That has not stopped me and my "V"! Many of my finds made with the V3i were simply too deep or too small for other metal detectors to detect.</p> <p>As I wrap up 2010 and I look back at what I have found with the V3i, it becomes apparent that it has been the best year of detecting for me to date. I found hundreds of buttons and more than a dozen colonial copper coins and Large Cents. If I had to choose a "best find" of the year, it would be a three way tie between a scarce War of 1812 US Navy button, a rare 1789 Spanish ½ reale coin, and a late 1700's silver cuff-link which are seldom found fully intact.</p> <p>I am hoping for a mild winter, because as long as the ground is not frozen, I will be out detecting with my V3i!</p> <p>Happy Hunting!</p>
