I received my new VX3 today and decided to take it out in my backyard for a quick spin. I know there was a house from the late 17-early 1800s, but had never been able to find its exact location. Although I plan on covering every square inch of the ground, I wasn't looking to put in a lot of time with the new VX3 today.

All I wanted to see was just how turn on and go it really is. I turned it on, switched to Coin and Jewelry mode and started swinging. Not 10 minutes in, I get a hit, shows 4" deep, spectragraph lines up all nice and pretty and I started digging. WOW! Out pops an 1818 Large Cent. My first!!! I gotta say, I haven't read the manual or used a White's machine before, but I know I am going to love it!

I can honestly say that White's has hit a home run with the VX3! It is truly a turn on and go top end machine. I cannot wait to get back out and see what other treasures it will find for me! Thank you White's for coming out with a top end machine more suited for us less experienced users!!!
